Coasters and a pattern

I know that Spring is almost here but if anyone ever reads my blog you would have noticed that I am always behind in my seasonal projects.
I needed some new winter coasters but I did not want to make the criss cross ones I always make, so I decided to use my hexagon rulers( I have absolutely no clue who designed them

since they are not marked) and see what I could create.
Long and behold, I have winter coasters and yes, I had to make some for my daughter too so now I have to stitch down 12 coasters.
I did not want to stitch them down on the sewing machine because I do not like the stitch going through both sides so I am going to stitch them down like binding. The pdf for the hexagons is here

Love your coasters. I went to get the pdf for the coasters and it would not let me in to the pdf.

Too cute! I rather think you are ahead of the season instead of behind. ;)

Very cute! I don't think I would let anyone put their drink on that though. LOL
