I love quilting and not a day goes by without quilting.
It relaxes my mind that I even get up earlier just to get a few stitches in before going to work.
It comforts me and feeds my soul.

Hi, I don't have a blog yet, but have also recently found Pat Sloan and her Yahoo group, blog and website and I do love her patterns and fabric. In fact, after I found her online, I was going through my stash and found that I had already purchased several pieces of her fabrics. I love the color choices you used for both the churndash quilt and the cathedral pillow! In fact, they both inspire me with my current but project. I am making a comfort quilt for a co-worker who just spent 12 days in the hospital and will not be well enough to return to work for a long time, if ever. When I first heard the news about her, I emailed everyone and said, come sign a block and I'll make her a healing, comfort quilt. I started this last week and had hoped to finish it this weekend, but so far I only have signatures from about 1/3 of the faculty/staff of the high school where I work. I may start forging people's signatures out of desperation soon! :o)
