Made a few rice heating pads for my Christmas eve dinner guests. What fun these were to make. I even made some for my kids since they work soooooooooo many hours.
Used several fat quarters from my stash and pieces of batting. Easy and fun to do.

The rice heating pads are very pretty--nice job! I see you are an early bird too! This is probably the last week of school before vacation---enjoy!!!
yes, it is the last week. I have guests coming on Monday so I still have to steam clean my carpets but I least my quilting table is almost empty. I just have 1 quilt to quilt and if I can get this house clean, I hope to at least start that tonight.
Vera, I started using Bonnie's methos of piecing from Quiltville, and I already have a top made for a Christmas gift next year. I need to sandwich it and quilt.
