A Pieced treat

I know this may sound ridiculous, but when I saw this pattern in American Patchwork and Quilting I knew I wanted to hand piece it and hand quilt it.
Well, I know how to machine sew but I did not know how to hand sew. so I had to teach myself and this is what I have accomplished so far. It does not seem like it will be a very big quilt so I may have to add some borders or figure out how to increase the blocks.
So when I get home from work too tired to machine piece and too congested from the pollen to go outside and garden, I sit and stitch.
