Bargello Update

Here is the update on the Bargello I started a couple of weeks ago. I have one more panel to put on and then I need to figure out how to make it larger so that it fits on my queen size bed. I actually should have cut out all the fabric to make it larger to start with, but I really had no intentions of putting it on my bed. I just wanted to make it. My husband wants it to go on our bed so I will have to add some borders. I did not want to add borders because I like the way it looks without them. so now to figure out what borders to add. suggestions are welcomed.

Lovely quilt -- great colors! Instead of making it bigger by adding borders, could you add another strip of bargello down the sides? Do you have enough of those fabrics left?

I do. Any idea how I go about it?

I just discovered that you reply in your comments instead of via email! Do your panels attach across the bottom? If so, I'd make just one "hump" of each panel, attach those together, then stitch the joined pieces onto the side of the quilt. Clear as mud?
