Christmas Cottage Swap

I wanted to participate in the Christmas Cottage swap but because I have other swap commitments at this time, I did not want to overwhelm myself.
With that said, I did want to make a Christmas cottage.
I have made several cottages using Freddy Moran's pattern and Bonnie Hunter wonky borders but I wanted to try the one being made by the swap and amending it with the wonky borders and I like it.
I have seen several that look so beautiful with vintage Christmas fabric and rick rack.

How cute! I wanted to do the cottage swap also but there is just too much going on and I didn't want to get overwhelmed and have to drop out.

I love the way it looks! wonderful. I've never tried a christmas cottage (or any other 'building' structure) in a quilt before but it looks so nice!

Cheers!

That looks great.
I hope to be able to do such details like that one day.

Oh wow. I wish you had signed up and you were in my group! Lovely. Just so so lovely. I know we can't do everything. It is sad but true.
