I want to make this

I saw this at the Material Obsession blog http://www.materialobsession.typepad.com/ and I knew I had to make it.
I have all these fabrics and I simply love it. Don't know when I'll get to it but it's on the list! I purchased some of the surrounding green fabric at Jo Ann's just to see a flower done in these colors. The green is an organic cotton in a sage green and it was $10.00 a yard. I will have to wait for a coupon to buy more of it. I just bought 1 yard to give it a try and I love how it feels. This quilt is calling my name. I will post a picture of the one flower I made soon.
This will be my 2ND grandmothers flower garden. You know you cannot have too many.

That is a beautiful quilt. I noticed it on their blog too. You made one of these already? You must be very patient....that's a lot of stitches!!

Oh beautiful. I don't like hand sewing but admire spectacular quilts such as this.

Beeeeautiful. I love hexagon quilts, I love sewing hexagons together, I just can't be bothered with all the paper and tacking beforehand.

That is a beautiful quilt, I'll want to see plenty of pictures of your progress when you take it off your "future" list. It would also make a great 'Sew-Between' if you do Bonnie's Leader/Ender technique.

Cheers!

I just got 2 books on hexigons. I was pouring over them before bed last night. Sigh. I love them but I've never made one.
