I made a three block Parcheesi runner to go with the quilt I made my sister in law for Christmas.
I had alot of fun making these but I have a dilemma . I want to make some more but I need some help in deciding which block looks better.
The center block is made of 4 squares put together and the end block is a 12.5 inch square in which I appliqued the 4 Parcheesi pieces too.
Which one looks better?
Though I have incorporated both types of blocks in this runner, I do have many more Parcheesi units that I have cut up and I want to applique them to the block that looks the best.

I like the end block better, it has a cleaner look than the center one with all the seams.
would be easier for you too!!!!!
just mho.
looks great.

Betsy I'm liking the 12.5" block you appliqued. Both are very pretty but I think making them all the same way is best. Love your colors.
I think the 12.5" block would be easier, but I happen to like the other one best.
I forgot to say thanks for entering my giveaway yesterday, so "Thanks!"
My 2-cents says I like the first one in the photo... Just my thoughts...
Happy stitchings and good luck! 8-)
I like the one on the right best, why make a 4 patch if you don't have to? Just making work for yourself!! lol
My eyes went straight to the 12.5 inch (solid) block. I think it was the background fabric that drew me in. But, the more I look at the four block one, I believe I like that one better. Something about the seam lines, makes the applique pop out.
Both are very nice!
I like the appliqued one best. However you could use different cream/off white fabrics for your four patch one for a different effect.

I think they both look very nice but if I had to choose, I would pick the one on the end, not the squares.
I like the block on the end the best! They both look great though!
I like the end block also, so crisp looking.
Well I guess I'm kind of late leaving my vote.. but I pick the appliqué as well. I think it gives you more control of the leaves.. and looks so pretty on the solid block.
