Ideas for Cathedral Windows + some thoughts

Some ideas of things to make with Cathedral windows:
Also, I guess there is a misunderstanding that when I blog I make my items daily.
I do not. I do quilt or sew everyday but I do not complete stuff everyday.
I may complete a project or 2 on the weekend or a day off and blog about it a week or several weeks later. For example, during Christmas break I may finish a few things and just post about 1 item per day.
I enjoy blogging and I enjoy all the friends that I have made but please do not think that I create daily.
My quilting items stay on the quilting table an amazinly long time. But when they are complete I will post about them but it may not be on the same day.
So I hope I have cleared any misconceptions.
Enjoy the Cathedral Windows. I want to see pictures of all who attempts it.

Ok.. so are you going to put white squares and make "reverse" windows in that big one?

Cutest little pincushion!

CUTE pincushion. I seem to be loving lots of pincushions lately. I have a sad, mishaped, reject that I overstuffed. Oh well...it works.

The pincushion is wonderful! And...I have the same question as Eileen....do you use white squares in that big quilt in the second photo? "Reverse" windows...that would be cool :)

LOL What Eileen said!

The multi coloured one looks very busy and I think white 'fillings' would look great.

Thanks for the ideas, I especially like the white with Christmas prints in the background.

Oh boy pincushions. What a great idea. I was always interested in Cathedral windows but afraid to start a project that I couldn't finish. But a pincushion, I could do. Thanks for the idea.

Your cathedral windows are BEAUTIFUL. I love the pin cushion. (I might possibly gather the steam needed to make enough cathedral windows for a pin cushion.)

Happy Thanksgiving.

I am going to have to try this. I am also curious about the busy one, so will be watching to see what you do with it.
The pincushion is adorable. I love it.

Thank you for that tutorial. I have to try making the windows, and that small pincushion project will be perfect for me. I´m not allowed to start more big projects....
