College Quilt

Several months ago I blogged about the college quilt my daughter wants.
I finally got it put together after months of just sitting there waiting for me to work on it. I tend to procrastinate so bad.
This quilt is huge so I took a picture of it folded. It needs to be pressed and sandwiched and marked for quilting. This one is so big it will be a challenge. I need an easy quilting design. Please help.

I had to laugh when you said you procrastinate -- you seem to get so much done every day! Since you want something simple for the quilting, maybe wavy lines in the sashing? Or maybe a couple straight lines through each sashing strip and a swirl on each brown square? Good luck!

Very pretty. If my memory services me correctly there is a little red in there, isn't there? Have you ever used tracing paper for your quilting designs instead of marking the quilt? That is what I learned to do in the freemotion quilt class I took. No worry of markings not washing out.

Interesting quilt, can't wait to see it quilted.

Are you hand or machine quilting? This looks like it would accomodate a freemotion, overall pattern such as loops, meander, or loops and flowers.

Procasinate??? YOU?? You are like a super sewer!! :) What a great black and white piece!

Maybe do a focus design in each of the black squares using white thread and mabye stippling with white in the white areas?
