A gift for next Christmas

I try to catch up on several projects when I am off from school.
Christmas 2009, I would like to gift my sister and my daughter with themed kitchen towels for every month. My neighbor so loved the set I gave her, I decided to make 2 more sets and a few in between for me. I can only make these when I am inspired since they take a bit of time and I have to search for the perfect applique.
This pattern is from "Acorn Hollow" by Art to Heart.
As I make them I will post my progress. I hope I can stay motivated. Last year I got stumped on July and just about rushed to get it done before Christmas.

great idea, where do you buy the towels?
Love this one, the cat looks great on the orange checks.

This is very cute and a good idea for a gift. I may have to borrow your idea for my mom.

I think it is cheating to start so early though!
