February Towel

During Christmas break I decided that I would gift my daughter a set of themed towels this Christmas.
Well, these towels not only take time but also inspiration. Half the time, I have to make 2 because I want one too.
I started several towels during the Christmas break but they sit on the to be appliqued pile for awhile which is fine with me because the creative part is done.
I used the pattern "Vintage Valentine" by Verna Mosquera to design this towel.
I was finally able to get my embroidery machine to work and I embroidered "Amor" which means Love in Spanish.
I hope to design a cute bag for my daughter and I from this pattern but we all know how that is. My intentions are noble but my time is not.

I just love seeing what you come up with for these towels. This is adorable, like all the other's.I can only imagine how much fun you have designing these. No baby, long story.

What a great idea! I would have never thought to do this. They are just too nice to use.

This one is very cute too. The stitching you did around the edges of the hearts gives the illusion of little lacy edges. I love it.
