Storm at Sea

Does the title ring a bell?
Does anyone know what quilt this is?
You know, quilt names change almost daily but this one caught my eye.
A couple of days ago I posted about the Flea market quilting books I purchased.
One book in specific is titled " The standard book of quilt making and collecting" 1949 edition,.
This quilt Storm at Sea is in the book.
I have seen this quilt recently in a quilting magazine. It is in American Patchwork and Quilting 1993 issue and recently I have seen it in another issue of 2008 somewhere?
Has anyone seen this one too?
How ironic that the patterns repeat themselves but this one in specific is an exact copy.

Yea I have noticed that too. I notice that a lot of the magazines are repeating similiar quilts, sometimes within months of each other, or with little variations. Sometimes I think I notice it just because I have been collecting them too long!

I loe the way this pattern flows and has circle patterns throughout. Are you going to make it?
