It's growing...

Oh I bet you thought this post was about plants.
Nope.
My mini hexies are growing.
I see a potential problem.
How on earth am I going to quilt these tiny hexagons????

It is growing! How big are you going to make it? I have no ideas for you on how to quilt it.

Wow, very impressive. Have you thought of doing a grandmother's garden quilt with a white or yellow background.

you could tack them down to wool...or better yet send it out to a machine quilter to quilt!
I would not attempt to hand quilt those!
looking wonderful !!!!

You are a crazy woman! That is giong to be stunning.
Well.. if I were going to actually hand quilt that.. I would be tempted to just do a cross hatch version.. maybe not through each and every hexagon.. but space it out. Or like the previous comment.. send it out. :-)

Oh man those are tiny. On each hexie you could quilt from one corner across to the next and do that at each corner. It would sort of look like asterisk.

Wow! good work, that is amazing. I get a tiny bit done at a time. I think while talking to my kids last night I put 3 hexagons on.

You have gotten a lot of these done...are they sewn together, or just laid out to show us that even though you have done hundreds(or close) it still isn't 10"!!! LOL I love it!!!!

Love what you are doing! If this will be a wall hanging, what about using tiny seed beads to tack the centers in place?
