At a quilt show a couple of weeks ago I saw a vendor seller paper hexagons.
Intrigued by this method I purchased 2 packs of hexagons and a pack of triangles.
The first picture is the 1/4 inch hexagon which is very , very difficult to make. If anyone has advise I will gladly take it.
The second hexagon is 3/4 inches and it was very easy to make.
The third is a 2 inch hexagon from my Mylar collection and that one is super easy to make.
The triangles were a disaster for me and if anyone wants to trade me for them I am game! There is no way I will ever make those! The triangles are 1/4 inch too!

I can imagine how difficult the tiny hexagon was to make. Yikes 1/4"! I have not tried hexagons.
Ouch! 1/4 inch! I cannot even fathom the numbers one would have to create to make anything larger than ... a coffee coaster! But it owuld be a fabulous way to use up teensy scraps.
I am starting to wonder about your sanity...lol...those are teeny-tiny!!! I didn't see it at first when I looked at the picture.
You know, I bought those same paper hexagons at the quilt show and have yet to try. I do have a plastic template to cut the fabric to the exact template shape, maybe that is what you need?

I love this method of paper piecing. It really can be quick and easy... Best of luck on the 1/4 inch!!
1/4" wow! I am not sure I could even hold onto them. I can't imagine anyone wanting to make anything so tiny. I guess someone did since they make them. Sorry I don't have any advise.
Love the 1/4" hexagon. I will have to give that a try.
Fiesta.. I actually am making a mini out of the 1/4in hexie right now for our mini quilt auction..(hope I get it done on time) but what i am doing is using no melt mylar as my template and the fabric sizing around the edges that are cut to a little bigger than an 1/8 and ironing the edges over then using the tiniest of whip stitches to put them together... I will have pics posted by Sunday to show you..I'll put them in the hexie blog I see you are a member..LOL
