Quilt Show delights

Another quilt show delight I purchased was a drunkard path unfinished block.
It came with about 2 yards of fabric and cut out pieces to make the block.
Did I mention that all the blocks and such that I purchased from that quilt show were hand pieced?

No plans for this one yet except maybe pairing it with some modern drunkards path blocks which I have never made.

I've never been to a show where I could buy anything like that...sounds like a good idea. Our guild has what they call a Trash and Treasure auction in June....and sometimes gals bring partially-completed items to that. The problem in OUR guild is that the ladies are so competitive in their bidding that most items go for a ridiculously high price and are way above MY budget!

Great purchase! There are a lot of quilters that really enjoy hand piecing, I wish I was one of them.

I love that as a finished quilt,a lucky pickup!! a friend of mine has it in her lounge and everytime I visit it takes me a good 5 minutes to find the one that is in wrong even though I know it's there..adds to the whole quilt! Tracey

Pretty, I have never seen anything like this at a quilt show either. Someone cleaning out their closet?

That is the only way I would ever have a drunkards path quilt is some one else made the blocks for me. That is one pattern I don't think I will ever make. Have fun putting it together.
