My friend Cindy had suggested that I pick a theme for my new guest room which used to be my daughters room.
I decided to make it my quilt display room with a vintage feel to it.
It feels bright and vintage to me, what do my blog friends think?

Definitely my style. I love all the quilt work the bed quilt, side table quilt, cushions and the wall quilt. Wonderful.

All my chicks have left the nest...and I have yet to decorate any of the rooms with quilts. Why? Because I don't have any to decorate! I give everything away! I really need to add personalized touches to this house and make it mine...after 30 years...pathetic. You room has inspired me!

Just what I would have done, if I had a guest room. I would like a room to rotate quilts for show, matching the seasons and/or my mood. I make a lot of quilts that don't go with my decor but that I love. I bring them out but they clash with everything else. I guess I just need a "bland" room for showing quilts. LOL

I like it. Especially like the table topper on the night stand - very sweet. It's nice to have our creations out where we can enjoy them!

What a great room!
A comfy place for guests (although they won't get any sleep for wanting to look at all the yummy quilted pieces!), a place to display your creations and an incentive to make more projects (to change out the display from time to time). It's a three-fer treat!!!
However, a sign should be posted that all bags will checked upon leaving to make sure that no one tries to sneak any of the goodies home with them! (LOL)
