Trees, Trees, Trees
When I saw this quilt on Megans blog
I knew it looked familiar.
I had it in my too do drawer. Megan did hers in a beautiful white. It is by Alex Anderson. I love this quilt but I did not want another Christmas quilt so I am kinda making it my own way. It will have a 2 inch sky blue border and a wider border with all sorts of greens. I will not be adding the holiday lights.
As of today, I have misplaced the issue but Alex Anderson also has the pattern out for this quilt. Thanks to Megan, I was able to purchased what is called a Tri-Rec ruler which made it easier to make the sides.
I hope to have it completed soon. I actually need to get some fabrics for this one.

I love the greens with the blue background, it's a fabulous colour combo. I hope you get to finish the top soon.
It's coming along very nicely!
I love them trees.
I love the trees on the blue background.
Sweet little number....I'll be watching for your finish.
Love the trees! The holiday lights around the border would be fun.
You always do such nice work, love the trees.
Great idea how to make the pattern your own Betsy!
I DO very much like your non-holiday version of this! II feel refreshed by its clean lines and cool colors.
I like the colors you're using. That's such a cool pattern.
this is beautiful I have a pattern that is similar that I would love to make for christmas...we will see if I get it done...I love your blog too!
I have always wanted to do this quilt too! I look forward to seeing your version.
I love the way your tree quilt is turning out! The different blue backgrounds look great! That is what I love about quilting, taking a pattern and making it your own. Good job!
These are really nice...I love the colors.
