Sewing Machine Cover #1

Margo posted a wonderful tutorial on sewing machine covers. Since I need three I figured I'd better get started. So I made one. It will not have the ties on the side because I failed to measure so it fits nicely without the ties. On the next two, I will measure.
I used a quilting design from Leah and I mixed it with a few swirls from Patsy Thompson designs.
Also, I tried a new technique from Diane where she uses a #60 sewing machine needle for silk and embroidery thread. I tried quilting with this new method on the sewing machine cover and I like it.

I need to make one. I'd not care about having ties on it...just want it over the machine as a cover to protect from dust. Yours turned out very nice! Better go check that tutorial out now.

This is beautiful...looks like you have the hang of the quilting too. I like this design a lot. Could you post the link to Margo's blog?

Hi Fiesta, I saw these both on Margo's blog as well as when Moda Bake Shop hosted Margo. I love how these go together. But more importantly, I LOVE how they can be adapted to go over your machines when you have your extension tables attached.

Yours is beautiful. I need some new covers but will wait until next year before I tackle the five I would like to make.

What a beautiful sewing machine cover. I truly should make something like that, but I am sure it would just end up on the floor since I am always sewing and not terribly neat about it. But I LOVE yours!!

I saw that machine cover too. It is a great idea because I have a table like yours too. I love your version.

Beautiful cover, love those fabrics. I've been wanting to make a cover and actually made one not long ago for my PIF. You've inspired me to make one for me.

What a fancy dress for your machine. I hope mine don't see it or they will be wanting one of their own.
