It did not last

well keeping the new sewing room tidy did not last.
I love being in one room of the house only. Love it.
I got a stool for my husband to come visit and sit a spell, and a new coaster for his beer when he comes by. ( You know refreshments keep them visiting longer)

It can't be helped, creativity isn't tidy. You should see my room! There's hardly room for dh to visit, lol.

Love the stool and coaster for Hubby's beer - that is adorable! :) Nothing wrong with a messy sewing room (which yours is definitely not!) - it means you're actually sewing!

Too funny that you've set up a spot for hubby...I guess if he wants to visit he will know where to find you! Hee!

ha, ha, I had to laugh at your picture, because that is what happens to my sewing area when I get in there. Tidy doesn't last very long :-)

Well, you wouldn't have fun if you didn't mess it up a little. Can't wait to see what you are working on.
Congrats on your win over at Jolly Jabber. Fun fabric.

but I always say that if its clean and tidy I am not working in there. Its creative clutter. Yes I have a stool for The Scot too. Does Mr QF have his own play)room too. :)

That is very organized to me. I love seeing the projects spread out. I think that is very sweet that you give your husband a spot for his beer.

I am also in the club that can't keep a sewing area tidy. Actually, I have given up even trying!!! LOL

A Messy space means you're getting lots of sewing done. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL

Sounds like you need a little refrigerator now :) A clean sewing room is a un-used sewing room! :)

Too funny, Fiesta. I want hubby to stay OUT of my room...LOL

Dogs - yes; hubby - no.

When you create - sometimes it's all over creating. But your finished projects are just so beautiful.

If you tried to keep everything tidy all the time in the sewing room, you couldn't be as creative Betsy. So nice to have a spot for hubby to visit too!

It's so good to know that I'm in great company! My sewing area gets cleaned up and then I start a new project. But your space still looks clean to me!

Mine is like that all the time!
You can't be creative and tidy...I can't!
The good thing is no mess anywhere else..you can walk away from it and come back later.

lol Nice of you to get a stool for him, I notice it is not a recliner...don't want him getting too comfy in there.

Youe sewing room looks well loved and well used. A neat sewing room is a sign that no sewing is getting done!
