1500 hexies. Thank you Pat for sending me scraps for the hexie quilt. Scraps are always welcome cyber friends. I only need 1.5 inch squares. Measures about 15x22 right now.
What size is that now? (It's hard to tell with nothing else around it to compare the size.) I was just thinking the other day that I need to send more scraps soon. LOL
I almost wrote the other day to ask if you were still working on this; I'm so pleased to see that you are! It really is a stunner. I have a few 1.5-inch squares, email me your address and I'll send 'em along.
Hi, I just came across your blog through Quilt Blogs site and LOVE it!! I'm a huge cathedral windows fan - actually funny I came across you tonight as I just (tonight) taught a cathedral windows tote bag class - I think you and I should be friends!! Send me your address, I have a bundle of 1.5" squares here you can have for your hexies (which i would also love to make one of these days) Valerie http://www.pastimesonline.ca/vals-quilting/
Wow, looks like a project I've been working on for 9 years. It's my traveling/forever project. Forever because I've thought about hand quilting it also.
Wow, are those the 1/4" ones? The guy at the paper piece booth told me once that it takes 56,000 of those for a queen size. I'm playing with those too....but I doubt I'll get as big as yours.
