Vintage Valentine #3

These are starting to get easier. Or maybe I am making the easier blocks first?
I am using a combination of needleturn and machine applique for these.

Love the block. I like your idea of machine/hand applique...I'm not really that good with either but can easily mix both.

Just lovely! And the finished quilt in last post is great too. Making progress on your hexie quilt.

I am going to start making the templates for the medallion this weekend. You have really inspired me to start moving on mine again.

Easy?
Are we looking at the same block?
I enlarged it and I can't see anything easy about it!
You are certainly one skilled applique artist!

Your work is beautiful, and I enjoy your blog. I've made a few cathedral window quilts, and think they're fun to make. I've made two by hand and the others on machine and by hand. Yours is lovely. I enjoyed your blog very much and will be visiting it again.

OH I love that block. You have a way with fabric choices. Very nice. I just started a big hand applique' project. I will probably finish it sometime in 2045!

That is one beautiful block, and so much detail. I find it hard to believe this is the easier one!

Very cute Betsy!! I know these must be very time consuming to make! It will be worth it in the end.
