I needed to play a little bit part 2

Great memories making this quilt.
I would say it took me about 6 hours to get this far.
I was very lucky that many of my blocks were big so it went fast.
I am so glad Victoria came up with this quilt idea because through the years I have gotten rid of blocks and now I wish I had not.
I have 4.5 years of quilting here and as soon as I get it done I will display it in my sewing room.
As I look at some of the blocks I remember swaps, new friends made from them, quilts that I completed, blocks that never amounted to anything and so many more memories.
I suggest everyone make one. It really should be called Times Remembered. I may actually put that on the border.

Looks like you are having a lot of fun. Love the kitty cat block. You have inspired me to dig through my boxes of fabric and make my own kitchen sink quilt.

that is a great idea. I went through my scraps looking for you some small scraps and found that I didn't have that many blocks left over. i'll start saving now.

It is WONDERFUL.......I think I might purposely start making a block or two when I see ones I like and then put them together into something like this in the future. It won't have the same memories as this one you made (if it has no swap blocks and stuff like that), but it will still be fun.

Such a wonderful idea!!! I will be copying you for sure :) Of course it'll be at least 5 years before I have spare blocks to make a quilt. LOL!
