Let's get a jump start on Christmas gifts

Breakfast tray mat.
I have a breakfast tray in my room and one in my guest room.
I made these covers just to make them look nice and coordinated with the rooms.
If you want to add a tray with it as a gift, they are very inexpensive and look nice with the mat.
The tray in my room houses my hand quilting supplies and the tray in the picture houses my guestroom magazines.
This would make a great gift for a newlywed or someone just getting their first apartment.
Again they can be made to match the recipients decor or for a season or holiday, or make several so they can switch them out .
I made mine by stitching 46-2.5 inch squares, quilt it and bind.
Let's make some tray mats and share your pictures for inspiration.

What a great idea! I have one of those bed trays with short legs that this would work with.

Thanks for the idea!

Just catching up on all things you have been doing. Your heart blocks are fabulous and how great you got someone to put your hexies together. She is doing a good job.
