Vintage Valentine

complete. I hope the pictures say it all.
I started this quilt on December 2009.
I am so glad I embellished each block as I went along since it became quite heavy after quilting it.
I started to hand quilt it and could not even turn it from the size and gave up.
I machine quilted it.
The applique was all needle turned with some satin stitching on the hearts with the embroidery machine.
I embellished with fabric flowers, lace and swarski crystals.
Though it is not Valentines, I did have to display it.
Pattern available here
Next in line to make this one with an embroidery twist. Thanks Verna for creating great products.

Betsy, my jaw is still on the floor. I had no idea you were this far. I thought you still had blocks to make. It is STUNNING!!!! It looks perfect on your wall. I can't believe that when you started this I only had one block to do. I still have that same block waiting for me. I hope mine is half as beautiful as yours.
