Alison posted about a doll quilt she made using the wedge ruler.
Well, I have that ruler shoved in the closet and thanks to Alison, I took it out and put it to use.
I needed a new ottoman cover to match my yellow and red quilt and I was fresh out of ideas until I read Alisons blog.
My ottoman cover is huge and if I were to make another project like this I would definitely make a rug. IT is as big as a tree skirt.
But, I am not complaining since I accomplished making a new ottoman cover before returning to work today.
yep, my wonderful summer break is over. I have so enjoyed blogging daily with my cyber friends and making new ones at the same time.
Thanks for the inspiration Alison.

That is too cool! Very nicely done. And I love the colors, too. And the idea of another way of displaying quilting-type goodies.

Oh what a fun cover. So glad you got to sew over your break. And you did a lot of different things too including the little goodie I got in the mail the other day. Thanks so very much. I will send more scraps as I cut my hexies out.
