Farm fresh

I saw this pattern during Christmas break and I received it as a gift from hubby.
It has been a struggle. The pattern is perfect in the sense that it is totally full size so no enlarging or piecing required but it is printed on both sides and I have not been able to do reverse needle turn applique which is my favorite technique.
I too wish I would have purchased it as a kit since I have totally struggled with the fabric selection.
It has taken me a week just to do this one block.
The star points just about killed me. I used a thicker white fabric so there was no show through and the points were super thick.
Six blocks to go.Pattern here

Your fabric choices are amazing. I love this quilt too but I would have to get the fabric kit since I don't have a stash.
