This block was a gift from Deanna .She gifted me many vintage blocks the past summer and 2 happened to be crazy quilt blocks. This is the second one.
As can be seen from the picture, the maker added crewel embroidery stitches.
I am glad to incorporate this block into my quilt.

I'm SOOOO glad those blocks are going to be used in such a wonderful way. They would have just languished at my house.
Did she do that by hand? Wow!
