A Finish and some gifts

Now that I completed my night time courses I hope to be able to get some actual quilting done. I have only been able to hand stitch because I get home so tired to venture into the sewing room.
I have been working on this wall hanging for several weeks now and a few hours ago I added the binding. It is nice to have a finish.
Cindy sent me the plaid fabric I used in this project last summer and yesterday I received the "Quilt makers" book from her that has a fall pattern that I just adore.
She also sent some yummy chocolate, a lovely card and a planner for next year.
Cindy is always very giving.
Barb sent me the acorns I used in the wall hanging. They are so cute. I would have never dreamed of using such luscious fabrics. They work perfect in this design.
She surprised me with these. I had no idea she was sending them.
I made the wall hanging from the issue of American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine pictured.

Yay! What a happy finish! And that it's rather a tribute to the loveliness of others makes it all the more special! :)
