Pincushions

When do you decide that you have too many pincushions?
I like to keep my different sized pins in different pincushions.
I find that it makes it easier to use them if they are all on the same cushion.
My Santa swap partner made the one with the red and green pins for Christmas and it is wonderful.
Though it is hard to see from the picture, she pieced my favorite nine patch design on it.
She used crushed shells in it and it has a nice weight to it.

I don't think you can ever have too many pincushions . Great idea to separate your different pins in different pincushions .hugs Sheila

I love your pincushions...and I never thought about the size of the needle and using for one pincushion...that is clever. the first thing that hits the floor when I am busy sewing is the pincushion...

I have lots of them but I think I like your idea of placing "like" pins in each pincushion.... don't know why I hadn't thought of that.... LOL... thanks for sharing your idea.

What fun! And I agree -- there's no such thing as too many! :)
