Granny Square mini

I participated in the Granny Sqaure Sew along this summer in an effort to keep clearing up my scraps. I made 11 blocks and I still have not put them together because I got distracted making this mini quilt. I have a nice supply of civil war fabrics from my Dear Jane quilt, and I used them as I made these 1.5 inch squares. I am just loving the mini process. This one measures 15x15.

Great Grannies, love the darker colors you have used. I have made nine and going to put them together for a baby quilt.

Love this mini! I love the look of all the granny squares. I may have to hop on the bandwagon and make some for myself.

That is awesome, Betsy! The little mini really looks great in those fabrics. And WOW! I can't even imagine piecing those little blocks...I have enough trouble with the bigger one! :o)

XOXO,

I purchased background fabric to make some Granny blocks but haven't started. I like the way you have used a dark background for some and a medium for others.
