Spring break

I am on Spring break this week and I usually just stay home, garden and catch up on some projects.
I want a new outfit for when I return to school so I picked up this colorful top at Kohl's for under $7.00 and I received many beads from hubby at Christmas time so I whipped up this jewelry set. I am still continuing my frugal ways and trying to continue saving for retirement so buying jewelry is completely out of limits for me and I am actually having fun making it. I do not have a link to any site for this process since I just whip it up. Sometimes I do read Katies blog for inspiration or I look at catalogs like Fire Mountains for ideas.

Very pretty. I started making bracelets recently with beads I had left over from making beaded pins. It's been fun and a bit addicting!

Those are lovely. I traded a quilt for 4 large boxes of beading stuff, equipment etc. When I made the trade, I had thought she meant a few supplies and I was happy. But then one day 4 large boxes arrived UPS and wow, was I wrong, I've got beads and equipment till the cows come home! Nice to hear others do different things than quilting!
