I have a love/hate relationship with paper piecing. I love how the blocks look but I hate the mess it creates.
You will love the technique for its accuracy.
I really do not care to do PP , it does give excellent points but I hate removing all that paper ;-) These will be great blocks for a scrappy quilt!
I've been learning to paper piece too. I find I can't use my scraps though as I really need bigger pieces or I miss the seam lines!
Good on you for trying to keep up with your scraps. I have a lot to use up and pp is one good idea. I too hate the paper removal process, that's why I cut them off instead of tearing. Take a big basket, do while watching some news.
