Gift set #2 complete

This one is going to a couple who have only been married a few days.
I am so glad I made extra towels this summer and that I saved some swap blocks. They have been a life saver.

John Deere gift set

I started this gift set and several others during my days off on Thanksgiving.
I am slowly getting them done and every night I just have a little bit here and there to complete them.
This one is going to a couple who just love John Deere. I made a little table mat instead of a full runner because of the time constraint.
Of course, I had to add a little feminine touch to the towel with a flower.

The doll maker strikes again

A few months ago I blogged about my sister who is a doll maker.
These are the dolls she sent for Christmas gifts for my grandaughter and nieces.
She makes them so well.I love them and I know the girls will too.

Enjoying my swap gift

Last year Sheila and I were in a swap together.
It was a Christmas swap and she made me this lovely runner. This is my second Christmas enjoying this runner. It has received many compliments from visitors.
It is so nice to receive a gift that is not only use able but beautiful at the same time.
Sheila, also happened to be my partner again this year for the 4 seasons swap.

My Cathedral Windows

I love homemade ornaments and besides the little owls I posted about a couple of days ago, I only know how to make these ornaments. Closing them is a bit of a challenge because of the window so I only made 2 for now.

Dear Santa

Dear Santa,
You know how I love fall. I want this fabric collection from the Fat Quarter Shop so that I can create many fall projects for this upcoming year. I am making a fall quilt for my grandaughter and 2 nieces and this colorway would be perfect.

Christmas Stockings

Finally finished a stocking for my daughter and her sweetheart.
It took me awhile to get all the fabric quilted but once I completed that task it went smooth from there.
Unfortunately I trimmed the top part on my daughters stocking too close to the edge .
She did not care so I left it as is.
