Valspierssews said...: I have seen this done before. It is a great idea. I have just retired some bath towels and bath mats and hope to get time to make a few patchwork beauties. I also have some kitchen hand towels to retire and will make a couple of cat bowl mats from them. I am sure Stumpy will like them. Your mat looks great. I thought I would do quilt as you go with each strip and bind the edges.
