American Airlines

Well, I am boycotting American Airlines, the airline that will get you there whenever they feel like it.
My poor handicapped 70year old mother was treated so poorly by this airline with no type of compensation.
Her flight was cancelled, she was left all alone and afraid with a $10.00 meal voucher for the hotel which charged $20.00 and up for all their meals.
Next morning the airline sent her to Texas, she was flying to Puerto Rico, where she spent 12 hours waiting for her flight. Again, given a $5.00 meal voucher she was only able to buy a meager sandwich.
Once home, the next night, she received no compensation from this airline.
Beware, beware, beware of these crooks.

Oh that's awful. I hope you are kicking up a fuss and a half.
If I were you I'd bypass the 'complaints dept' and go straight to the media.

I am so sorry to hear that your mother was treated so poorly. Seems to be the way of the airline industry. I think they forgot that we are customers who have paid for a service that they are supposed to deliver as promised. Seems that they've got us over a barrel...of oil, they want their planes full when they fly.

I would definitely complaint and write a detailed letter to the airline! This is totally not acceptable! I'm soo sorry to see how badly your mother was treated. Hugs to mom.
