Same time next year my baby will be off to college.
She plans on renting an apartment so her room will have a queen size bed.
Today she selected this pattern and I am quite pleased with it.
Instead of blue squares she choose black ones.
Because it is a queen size quilt I wanted to get a head start on it and take my time.

I love this pattern, b and w should be just as wonderful. hint, make sure you prewash the blacks so they don't run when the quilt is washed...

that will be a nice pattern and simple/quick enough to do. It's perfect for a dorm room, crisp and "hip" :) They grow up soo fast!
I fell in love with that quilt the moment I first saw it. I think it will be just as striking in black and white. Great choice for your daughter.
