Well here it is. My first ever designed and completely hand quilted little quilt I have ever made.
It measures 35x35 and as posted earlier the Dresden blocks came from Debbie from Making Quilts in Canada and the blocks were made in the 1940's time frame.
I love this quilt.
I hand quilted it and totally loved the painful process.
I used presencia pearl cotton #8 on the Dresden . I like the look but using pearl cotton was hard on my hands and it took hours to finish a plate. I do not know if I will use that method again.
I had my own purple fabric which I had dyed months ago and some garden trellis blocks I had been working on.
I read a bit about the Thimble lady and I used her method towards the end and my fingers were saved.

The quilt is beautyful, I like the Dresden blocks (they are on my "to do"-list), and the other blocks make an interesting pattern...
Betsy, it is beautiful! I love the green and purple together.
Great quilt!! - congrats you did a nice job....
It is wonderful! Good job :-)
I so love how you framed those blocks! You are soo talented!
It's beautiful Betsy and the use of the lattice blocks makes it so interesting. Great job!
Very pretty and love the way you used the lattice. I can't imagine hand quilting with perle cotton!
Wow! The purple dyed fabric really sets off the Dresden's and the garden trellis blocks. A perfect combination.
