Hexagon quilt update

I have been hand quilting my hexagon quilt in the evenings. Being that it gets darker earlier now, evenings come very fast. When I first started I used a frame but it became very cumbersome so I took it out. Now I quilt with no frame. Since I am quilting a hexagon I have to rotate the quilt and it is much easier without a frame.
I also mark it as I go along. At first I used the tape that is 1/4 wide but that was such a hassle. Now I just use the washable marking pen. I am enjoying this quilt.

This looks very nice. I don't like using a hoop to hand quilt. I usually only handquilt if it is a smaller project anyway and find the hoop is too constraining.
