Batting Debate

OK it is by far not the best picture but here is a side by side comparison of Warm and natural on the left and the Bamboo batting on the right.
I did not have much left of the bamboo one left, hence the picture is smaller.
Both feel the same with the bamboo having just a scant of thickness less and it is much softer to the touch.
I have very dry hands and when batting feels bad to the touch I do not use it. Like the prepackaged ones. If I can touch them and they do not feel good to me in my hand then why would I want it in a quilt.
All opinions welcome on this debate. Don't get me wrong please, I love Warm and Natural and it is the only one I use, except for the one quilt that I am using the Bamboo batting in.

I've not used bamboo yet but will be anxious to see what others say (who HAVE used it).

I'm always interested in a batting debate. I've never used bamboo. Sometimes I like a polycotton for baby quilts. Like an 80/20. I know some people don't like that but I do.

I have used both on my longarm.... and they both quilt up really nice... I use W&N mostly... because that's what I have in stock....

I don't know - does the bamboo shrink? I love the feel of W&N and how it only warms you where it's touching you, but I count on it for that 3% shrinkage to hide a multitude of sins!

I usually do fairly complicated quilting and love how it puffs up a bit and already feels "broken in" after the quilt is washed the first time.

I have the same problem with my hands, so will watch the debate with interest.
