Flea Market finds

No matter how many flea markets or thrift shops I go too I never find anything that has to do with quilting.
I read blogs on how people find really great deals but I barely find anything until now.
I was able to buy these books for $1.00 a piece! Granted they are older but some of the titles are from famous quilters now. I love reading about quilting so though I may not make any of the quilts in these books it is still fun for me to read about them.
Because I never find great deals on quilting stuff at the flea market, I did not take alot of cash. The vendor I purchased these books from had a few more I would have enjoyed but I ran out of money.
During my flea market visit I was also lucky enough to purchase a pack of Susan Bates #11 quilting needles for .50cents and a brand new leather thimble for $2.00.
Not a bad day at all.

What a find! Even if I don't make any of the quilts in a book, I always learn something new.

I love flea markets and yard sales, too. I love your reasoning and also Mam's that says even if you make nothing from a book, you always learn something from a book....makes me feel better about all the quilting books I have and have only read but NOT made anything from them. :)

It will be fun to go through these. I'm sure quilting techniques are different in some of them too. Good find!
