I started this quilt for my granddaughter' "Lily" birthday in October.
I purchased the pattern as soon as it came out from
Nanette at Freda's Hive sometime in the fall..
I was so pleased to see that Nanette included a smaller size since Lilybug will only be 4.
Only 4! I cannot believe she is already that age.
I decided to start early because I like the look of hand applique on the dresses rather than the machine blanket stitch.
I will post more as I get them done.
I am only using fabrics that I own.
So far no fabric purchases this month at all yet!

This is adorable so far....can't wait to see more as you progress with it. Lily will love this, I'm sure. (Is it going to be a surprise or has she seen parts of it already?)
Wow, I am loving the fabric choices!!! I got my pattern at the beginning of January and am so excited to start it.

All my girls have grown up but I have a sweet grandaughter I can make it for someday!! That would be fun!
Lilybug will love it. I have the pattern also and selected my fabric back in the Fall, but have yet to start. Just so many things to do! :)
