Bonnie's Mystery Quilt

Bonnie Hunter has a mystery quilt challenge once or twice a year. I always want to make one but as usual I am too consumed with other projects.
Nope, not this year. Though I debated about it, I said, no I am going to participate!
And participate I did! It is February and I just completed only step 1. There are 120 of these so imagine the amount of pieces I had to cut out on my time frame!
But I was determined. I used my Dear Jane civil war stash ( Sorry Jane) and had to play with it a bit because I almost did not have enough.
This is just what I needed to practice my piecing skills and patience level.
Just hope it all fits at the end.

Poor poor Jane. ha-ha-ha. I have not taken the leap to do Dear Jane yet.. but maybe someday I will.. I have a pile of CW repros in my stash that would be perfect. But anyways.. I can't wait to see how your mystery quilt turns out. I am really committed at the moment.. or I would do it with you. :-)

Your going to love this quilt!! Bonnie's is very pretty and I've spotted several others that are just as pretty! Keep plugging along....it is lengthy but well worth the effort.

120 steps sound like a lot but we probably do that many steps in every quilt. I can't wait for the mystery to be solved.
