Before a quilt or any project leaves my sewing room to the sandwich table or quilting table, I make the binding for it and the label.

Oh, Betsy, you are so organized!
That has got to be the best gift. I should give myself that kind of present. It's always hard to sit and do it once the quilt is done being quilted and then that can delay it's completion.
For the first time, I made my scrappy binding before I quilted the quilt. It was fantastic to take the quilt off the frame and immediately get the binding on. It is a gift for sure!
A great tip and perfect for keeping us organized!
That is a good idea. I do it sometimes, but not always. I need to get better at that!
OOO pretty binding!! :) Ya know how I do mine, in groups of 10 :) and I've started doing the labels the same way.
