A Valentine finish

OK so I am having a bit of a problem finishing my projects before the actual holiday but that is OK because I will display them for awhile and next year they will be ready. These are the Pat Sloan blocks I posted about several weeks ago.
I have another Wallie like this that I am putting the finishing touches on.
I like the way it looks but I am not pleased with the echo quilting.
I am having a hard time machine quilting. I do not like the look of machine quilting but I do not have much choice.
I was going to hand quilt this one but I knew I would never get done.
Also I did not have Navy blue thread so I used white. Not too happy with that but it will have to do.
We do not get alot of company so the quilt police will not be examining this one.

I love your Valentine blocks and you are right, they will be ready for next year....at least you got them done!!! I love to hand quilt but hardly have time for it. When my last son leaves next month, I think I will start handquilting when my husband is watching TV, maybe I will get some stuff done then???

I think it is a great wall-hanging - I've been liberated - glad you are, too - my Quilt Bible is so thin - one day soon it may just fly away!

I like how your hearts look. We are our own worst critics....nothing wrong at all with your quilting on those!

I like the valentine wallie and I'm sure the quilting is perfect. I don't think the quilt police will find anything wrong with your work!
