Pure Act of kindness

One day on one of my blog reads, I saw "The Blessings" quilt by Bon Bon designs and fell in love.
It is from an Australian designer and I emailed my Australian friend Sheila to see if she was familiar with the designer or if she has heard of the quilt. Hours later she emails me that she can get the pattern for me and that the designer is well known. I believe she said she may have seen her or met her.
Well cyber friends, I do not have a clue to deserve such fate, but today I received the quilt pattern and Sheila did not stop there.
Look at all the goodies she sent.
It is so ironic but homespun is one of my favorite quilt magazines. I try to buy all the Australian ones when I can use my cherished Joann's coupon.
Also, Sheila must be a mind reader because I have been wanting to make a little basket of tuffets and the one she sent will be the first one to adorn my basket.
I am left speechless at this generosity. "The Blessings Quilt" is truly a blessing .

Hi. I am 9 year old Emily of www.sewingsister.blogspot.com I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are getting off to a great start to the new year. I wanted to thank you for entering my Sew Mama Sew Giveaway. I know that that was a busy week for everyone trying to enter all of the contests and it was hard to actually take the time to get a good look at the blogs. So I would like to invite you back to my blog to look around and see if it is a place that you would like to come back and visit again. If so, please consider signing up as a follower or putting me on your blog list so you will know when I post. Thanks so much.
