Another Finish

I finally finished another topper for my end table. I still have the Autumn one I made in the fall.
I purchased these blocks at a guild quilt show and though I had no idea what to do with them at the time, I knew the inspiration would come.
Well, I simply love the block with the remote control on it and I would love to attempt it even though I know it may just kill me but I do not know the name of it.

update- Thanks to blogger Mary Kay I was able to find the pattern and the template.
Mary Kay thank you. You did not leave a return email address.
Lets hope I have the patience for this. I am excited.

The block is "Hands All Around" and when you see it in black and white, it really doesn't look all that hard except for the curved piecing or is it appliqued? I found it in "The Standard Book of Quilt Making and Collecting" by Marguerite Ickis originally published in 1949. I have seen later editions somewhere. I looked at Quilters Cache for this block but I didn't see it . It could be under another name. I hope this helps a little. Happy stitching.

Hey, I found a block pattern for you. http://www.designstoshare.com/patterns/viewpattern.php5?id=158
This is the actual link to the page with the pattern on it. Also there are many variations of this block and I like this one the best. Good luck.

Oh, you have lots of pattern finders I see - doesn't look easy, though probably not as difficult once you get started - certainly pretty - good luck!
