A natural finish

I posted about this quilt several weeks ago . It was a leader and enders project but the border became a full time event.
I believe there are no two flowers alike ( at least I know I tried not to repeat).
The border is a braid from Bonnie's web site and though it was fairly easy , it was quite time consuming. It took me more time to make the border than the actual flower area.
This is the 1st quilt I have made by just improvising and I like it.It has a homey comfortable look to it.
I am presently in the process of marking it so I can hand quilt it.
It measures 54x64 so it is just a lap quilt for me.
P.S. by no means is this quilt done! I still have to quilt it.

WOW...what a border...and green is MY color. I'm guessing Bonnie has a tutorial on her site for that braided border??? I'll have to look at it soon.

It turned out great! I love the braided border, haven't tried that one yet. The flowers are pretty scattered around!

Beautiful Quilt! I love the braided border & used it on a recent project too, but in 2 colors so not much of a braid effect.

I love the effect of the different tones of green. Can't wait to see it quilted!
