Finally got it binded. I quilted it in the summer but it was too heavy to bind and label then. It is nice and heavy and now that there is a slight chill in the air, it helps keep my feet warm while I watch TV. I hate wearing socks.
I wanted to display it in the guest room but hubby feels that because it is very heavy compared to my regular quilts, I will benefit from it on the cold winter nights we get here in this part of Florida.
A final thanks to
Jean for the excellent tutorial.

What a pretty quilt. I love string quilting, it is so relaxing and the finished project is always surprising.
I love that quilt! It is very cheerful.
VERY nice...I have some blocks made for a totally scrappy one and will try to work more on it this winter.
I love your string quilt and of course it would be heavy with all those seams, I just hadn't thought about it before.
Thanks for your comment on my blog and you may make a pumpkin quilt of course!!! I see you have a thing for them too!!
It turned out beautifully. I love the look of string quilts, but I haven't tried it yet.
Love it!
This is on my list of to-do's.

Wonderful quilt; you got to love a quilt that uses even the narrowest of scraps! I can imagine it was too warm to bind in the summer with all those layers of seam allowances and maybe foundations.
I love that quilt, it's been on my to-do list for a long time.
that look so good! well done...
